Beelink Mini MX TV Boîte Android 5.1 Amlogic S905 Quad-coeur

Easily one of the boxes that I was really excited about this year the Mini MX comes with the latest Amlogic s905 and a price tag from GearBest.com that is very hard to beat. I managed to grab mine from them a few weeks back for the price of $40 and I think is more than reasonable considering what do the box have to offer for that. Here are some of the features:
4K at 60fps playback
HDMI 2.0 that makes that 4k at 60fps playback possible
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
BT 4.0
GB Lan
A very small footprint and almost no heat pollution not to mention no noise due to the passive cooling done by Beelink

Just like the X2, the Mini MX shares the same physical appearance and the shell of the box is exactly the same minus the power button on the X2 and the branding of course. I have to say the device looks stylish and un-intrusive, something I really like. And just like the X2 this one is made I believe specifically for the needs of GearBest, thats why you will not find it on Beelink's web site.
For the performance details you will have to stick around for the review, but for now I have to say majority of the functions are good, but the platform is still new and there are plenty of bugs to be addressed especially with the KODI playback, I am sure very soon we will have new firmware versions and KODI team will work on fully supporting the s905 SOC. For those that are not afraid to play around and wait for updates, its a great little device.

-Very small, very stylish.
-Very quiet.
-The remote control sensor, successful. It senses from all directions.
-KODI player, available.

-Online subtitle finding, very successful.
-Subtitle characters are very successful.
-All hard drives and flash memory worked.
-Smooth video playback. Videos worked fluently.
-It showed all video formats.
-It showed H.264, H.265 all video formats
-Video audio codecs, worked successfully.
-DTS audio codec videos, worked successfully.
-DTS codec has worked with TV stereo speaker (DTS codec HDMI to TV = OK)
-Andorid Market connection is very successful
-Alternative video player, I've installed BSplayer and MX Player. I did KODI player the default player. Because KODI player is working very successfully.

Suggestion

-The power adapter cable is too short.
-Remote Control buttons needed hard clicks.
-Remote Control buttons high click sound
-Remote Control buttons inadequate.
-Remote Control, not ergonomic.
-There is a power button on the remote control, but not on the device.
When you plug in the power cord the device powers on. In case of an power failure the device will lose power but will reboot when there’s electricity again.


Note: I do not have a sound system. Performance on the sound system, I have not tested.
Note: Start the operating system update. My device found one update.

Отличная приставка для работы в качестве медиацентра. Работает устойчиво и не греется. Для использования в российских реалиях доустановить софт:
1. Перед началом эксплуатации выполнить сброс на заводские настройки. У меня до сброса подглючивал ланчер.
2. Родной медиаплеер многие фильмы играет без звука. Решение - установить MX Player с декодером АС3. Проблема обсуждалось на сайте 4PDA.ru.
3. Доступ к сетевым накопителям возможен через ES проводник.
4. Русская раскладка на USB организуется программой Russian Keyboard, я предпочитаю от GameWariorExcellent prefix for work as the media center. Works steadily and it isn't heated. For use in the Russian realities to doustanovit software:
1. Before operation to execute dumping on factory settings. At me before dumping the lancher podglyuchivat.
2. The native media player plays many movies without sound. The decision - to establish MX Player with the AC3 decoder. A problem it was discussed on the website 4PDA.ru.

Отличный медиа плеер, все в одном, 2ГБ оперативной памяти, хватает с лихвой, не нужно брать 1ГБ - будут проблемы. 16ГБ внутренней памяти, предоставлены пользователю примерно 11 ГБ, для игр и программ более чем достаточно + карта памяти позволяет добавить в случае необходимости. Размер - приятно удивил его маленький размер, причем меньше чем ожидал - хорошо. В комплекте все что нужно, кабель HDMI, кабель питания, пульт (кстати пульт не аэро мышь, а просто пульт кнопки, есть клавиша нарисован курсор, с ее помощью можно двигать курсор вверх или вниз право влево стрелками на пульте, не удобно но иногда выручает. Советую купить отдельно Wifi клавиатуру, или айр мышь, в программах незаменимы. Скорость и прошивка нормальны, сменил лаунчен на нова, гораздо удобнее. Прошивки и поддержка на сайте 4пда, там и альтернативные прошивки. Wifi держит 2 канала - по 2.4Ghz и 5Ghz - подключил дома через 5Ghz фильмы летают без тормозов вообще! Берите 2GB\16

Нет возможности прошить TWRP но думаю скоро будет, для сохранения всей прошивки (полный бэкап)

great product. very fast and reliable. stable in work, cool in progress after hours of work. google playstore work great. doesn't have any problems with installation from playstore. all of the players pre-installed on android box working great and reliable. what quality of product build goes material is great quality, hard plastic, rubberized bottom. remote is very useful and fast in respond. internet speed is great on cable but not so good on wifi (on cable full speed of internet-tested with 30mbits of 30 mbits, on wifi 13 mbits of 30 mbits). overall great product. highly recommended :)

wifi could be better. OTA update could be better and more often
