I have several "powerful LED" headlights, and this one is very good, but not the most powerful.It is very good for camping and walks in the dark. Not very bright, but overall excellent.

Very bright middle light, side ones are a little less, but still bright.Ordered with batteries, so when it arrived I just poped the batteries in, and was ready to go.

most of it is made out of plastic and on the front head there should be some foam. Else good light and long enough to make a walk. I use the headlight as well, when I am working on my RC cars.
